I am a Greek artist currently pursuing my Bachelors degree in Fine Arts in Boston MA, at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts.
My preferred medium is clay, however I also work heavily in performance, photography and writing. Most of my work is semi autobiographical; familial, sexual and private memories or trauma are reimagined, putting myself at the place of the director, instead of the limited participant.
Most memories are recreated with a sense of humor and blunt honesty. Taking ownership and regaining control over those aspects of myself, I wish to highlight that these experiences, while hard, can truly end up being transformative and at the end, they can heal, at least enough to be joked about.
